Waxing

1. Check your skin before your waxing appointment. Inflammation or broken skin needs to heal before it is waxed. It’s also important to locate and point out any moles or beauty marks. 
2. Let your hair grow for two to three weeks. Short hair won’t pick up well while long hair prevents wax from adhering. 
3. Gently exfoliate your legs a day or two before. Avoid scrubs the day of your appointment.
4. Moisturise well in the lead up to your appointment but avoid it on the day of the session. Moisturiser will coat the hair and interfere with the wax’s grip.

A bikini wax will usually last around three to four weeks but it’s important to note that everyone's rate of re-growth varies.

Coarse hair should be around half an inch (two-three weeks of growth).

As waxing pulls hair directly from the room it’s a great choice when removing hard, thick hair. Leaving you with smooth and even skin it doesn’t just wax away unwanted hair but dry and dead skin cells too.  Waxing also lasts a lot longer than other hair removal methods.
