Get Charlotte Ronson’s Model Hair in 15minutes
1. Prep hair by spritzing lightly with L’Oreal Professionnel Volume Architect and blowdry with fingers or a brush, parting in the middle.
2. Follow with an all-over light mist of L’Oreal Professionnel Infinium Hairspray and rake through with fingers.
3. Beginning at the front and working backwards, divide hair into one-inch horizontal slices, rolling each section around two fingers as if to create a loose pin curl.
4. Press the curl with a flat irons, such as GHD, for just a few seconds, then release to let hair fall into easy, relaxed bends.
5. Rake through with fingers to create unaffected texture, finishing with another mist of Infinium if needed.

Style Tip: Classic Waves
Using the Double Blow Dry technique your hair will be prepped to create an on trend Classic or glamorous wave. You’ll need a curling wand for this method although you can also use heated rollers as I will advise.
The trick is to take finer sections if you’re going to brush it out to create a classic look, for the more glamorous look its trial and error depending on the thickness of your hair. Grab larger sections wrapping it around the wand; apply a quick spray of Infinium Queen by L’Oreal Professional to each section before wanding or rollering. For the less classic look you are using the wand to create the immediate look that you want (don’t brush it out!).
For the more classic wave work through your finer sections by sitting the base of the wand on top of the root area of the section and wrap around the wand twisting with each wrap around action. The twist will create more of an S bend (wave) rather than a curl. Do your best to get the ends of your hair neatly into your wand. Try to concentrate near the top of your hair on your parting a little more as this will be more on show! When finished, starting from your nape work in rows, section the rest of the hair away (loosely) and using a comb gently comb through and encourage the wave by spraying into the grooves you have created. Then using your hair spray tin, insert it into the grove of the wave turning it to emphasize it. Continue your sections throughout the hair and what you will have is a beautifully crafted classic wave making your hair the talking point of any evening.

You would have to be blind and deaf to not know that the X Factor returns to our tv screens this coming weekend. Every advert break reminds us of this and the judges are proclaiming it will be better than EVER! Well better than last year at least!?!
We have just seen the latest promotional material for the X Factor. While Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh look well groomed, you cannot miss Tulisa and Nicole Scherzinger. It may hav something to do with their mini dresses. But at RMUK we cannot fail to notice the masses of hair each of the girls have. Both obviously having had hair extensions put in. The promo is not the latest pictures of Tulisa as we all know she recently turned blonde but even still she looks amazing!

Jessica has opted for soft old school Hollywood glamour for the event, creating a soft wave and movement that graduates through to the ends. This can be achieved through a very pronounced blow dry that builds in movement but retains a softness. Use a medium to small barrel brush and L’Oreal Professionel Pli, divide the hair into sections and blow out. Each section on completion should be pinned up for 3-4 minutes, and when gently releasing them all, make sure the movement is combed out very lightly with a thick comb, almost in a raking stroke, it’s very important not to brush this out. A small amount of L’Oreal Mythic Oil – light pulled through wet hair at the start will enhance the polish of the finish. Hold with L’Oreal Infinium Hairspray gives medium to strong hold with absolutely no change to the look or texture. Its small particles evenly distribute perfectly for the final step in finishing the blow dry. Hold hairspray 10 inches from the hair and spray gently.
The colour and condition here is crucial: Ask your stylist for classic highlights on a rich dark base brown using either L’Oreal Inoa colour or L’Oreal Richesse, using soft caramel tones to soften without taking away the shine achieved from a darker colour.
