Growing hair- One of the first things to think about is the style you wish to achieve and how you want your hair to look in terms of length. Plan ahead and make sure you don’t have it cut right before your wedding if you need that length for your hair to be put up into your required style.
Professional hair Treatments – Can really boost hair growth (along with healthy eating). Try coming in for a hair treatment such as L’Oreal Professionel Power Repair B or Cristalceutic, at least once a month or at least when you have your hair trimmed, and start as many months before your wedding day if you can. For the last couple of weeks increase application to at least once times a week at RMUK we can simply shampoo your hair, apply the treatment and then the conditioner with a rough dry to finish for ONLY £10! Or if you don’t have time to venture to RMUK for your treatments then use a professional masque as a treatment at home, we recommend L’Oreal Professional Intense Repair Conditioner or Kerastase Nutri Thermique Masque. The masques are more concentrated than normal conditioners so you only need to use a tiny amount. Use one of these treatments and you will notice your hair has become smoother, sleeker and shinier for your wedding day! Conditioned hair will also behave better when styling.
Straighteners and Curling- If you just love your straigtheners and styling tools, (and who doesn’t?), make sure you use a heat protector such as L’Oreal Professionel Hot Style Constructor Spray, to help limit damage and stop your hair drying out too much during the weeks leading up to your wedding. If you can cut down and then stop straightening your hair the week before you wedding, you will notice a big difference in the quality of your hair.
Hair extensions? There is quite a bit to hair extensions! They can be key to create your dream wedding hairstyle. At RMUK we now offer 2 brands of hair extensions Great Lengths and Racoon. Hair extensions can help add volume, length, texture and/or chemical-free colour to any style. You can personalise your application to meet all your needs. If your hair is fine or lifeless then volume is exactly what you need. Our stylists will add extra ‘layers’ of hair in between your locks to achieve great thickness. Many women find their hair only grows to a set length before starting to look unhealthy and ratty with split ends. With hair extensions you can achieve any length you desire. This will come in handy for achieving certain looks, such as a curly downstyle or a thick ballerina bun. Hair must be at least 10cm in length for hair extensions to be applied. Hair extensions are easy to work with. They are also infused with keratin (the protein found in hair, skin and nails, which keeps them strong and healthy) for a smooth, frizz free finish.

Our friends at Great Lengths Hair Extensions have given us a step by step guide on how to recreate Adele’s look
The only way is up!
Here goes…let’s get the Adele look!
Start off by making your job easier: set the hair using large rollers or curl using wide plate straighteners. This’ll make the hair more pliable and add volume and movement.
Get sectioning into 4:
1.5″ section parted centrally to create the fringe.
Top section behind the fringe from temple to temple, including the crown area.
Below section b, from temple to temple just above the occipital bone.
From nape to occipital bone.
Start with section d: tie into a ponytail just above the occipital bone and gently backcomb throughout its length. Wrap the length of the tail around your index and middle fingers to create big barrel curl and secure tightly over the base of the ponytail. Be on bond-watch at all times!
Section c is next up to form the sides and back of the style. Lightly backcomb the natural perimeter line to create volume at the sides. Take the hair back into a really loose ponytail and secure just below the crown. Don’t pull to tight as you’ll lose volume from the sides.
Stand back and have a look: make sure the sections are perfectly blended so the look is soft. Allow the hair to sit over the first section line, smoothing over with a soft bristle brush. Depending on how much hair is left, either let the end fall softly over the barrel curl or twist around and pin then let the end drape around in a soft curl.
Backcomb the top of the hair to achieve height. Bring the top back over to join the ponytail at the crown; make sure is lightly sweeps around the sides, blending with now harsh lines. Pin the ends over the ponytail to disguise the band.
Voila! The fringe area should be worn softly away from the face. Finish with a light smoothing of Soft Finish Spray to secure.
There were reports for years that the Pussycat dolls fought a lot but 2 of them have put their differences behind them. And what a gorgeous duo they make?
They appeared together on the red carpet at Galaxy’s special drive in movie evening. Showing everyone how to do glam to the movies
Both stunningly blonde. Ashley Roberts has more of a golden tone highlights, who showed us how to do a casual ‘up do’ bun with plenty of body.
Kimberley Wyatt showed that platinium blonde and pastel pinks are still on trend, but rather than covering her hair with the pastel pink she has almost a low-lighted effect, which is just as easy to achieve with a little help from our wonderful stylists!
This is not the first time the girls have appeared together on the red carpet in the past few weeks. They also appeared together at A Good Day To Die Hard premiere
With hair and beauty like this we hope they keep appearing on the red carpet together
Naomi Watt’s hair looked amazing at the Oscars in a loose up-do which is on trend this season. Forget the harsh structure and think effortless chic, loose pin ups and buns. This season’s up dos should look like it’s taken minutes to do. To recreate Naomi’s chic bun blow dry hair using L’Oreal Volume Riche 4 mousse to create texture, backcomb all the way through to give volume at the crown and pull back into a bun. Make sure the sides are pulled tighter before using your fingers to gently fluff the sides to loosen the hair and give this casual do-it-yourself look. To finish apply Infinium hairspray to create hold.
