It’s all natural. She keeps her hair conditioned and healthy which helps to bring out the natural luster her hair has. Nicole’s hair is mainly parted in the middle. Kelly Rowland’s stylist has been using the professional hair tools from the Cloud Nine range to style Kelly’s locks on The X Factor.
As the competition heated up and the panels’ live show looks cause as much conversation as the contestants’ performances, Kelly has been winning the battle of the judges week after week with jumbo curls and loose waves.
Loving the looks, Kelly requested both the Wand and Micro Iron for her personal use and tweeted her thanks to Cloud Nine saying, “Thank you @CloudNineC9 for the wonderful hair products!”
And it seems that singing advice isn’t the only thing Kelly’s been passing onto her girls as Misha B was soon following in her mentor’s styling footsteps and requested the Micro Iron to spice-up her strands too, tweeting “THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR MY MINI IRONS AND THE AMAZING PRODUCTS!!! Mwahhh xXx”

You can see Michelle’s new crop hair looks quite matte and natural, there isn’t much fuss. This is because there has been very little product applied when dry as a finisher.

How to achieve the crop hair look?
Use a leave in conditioner to soften the hair.
Work L’Oreal Natural Liss through the hair and begin drying on a medium heat.
Using a vent brush, brush the hair from side to side in opposite directions.
Follow the head shape to create a natural shape to the hair and remember to direct the hair downwards in the direction of the neck when at the back.
Use your fingers to twist the ends of the fringe so it kicks out a little.
When the hair gets almost dry, you will have a good idea of where the hair is parting but do not create a parting, the hair needs to naturally sweep over.
Use your fingers to move the hair into place.
To get the fringe to perfectly kick, rub your fingers together with ends in between.
Finish with L’Oreal Infinium hairspray or L’Oreal Fixing Mist

One of the hottest celebrity hairstyling trends right now is the Balayage, known by it’s common name, the two-tone hairstyle or as ombre, borrowed from the fashion term for a graduated color from dark to light. The hairstyle embraces the visible root, so instead of racing to the salon to touch up your roots, with the ombre hairstyle, we flaunt those roots.
The reason for balayage’s increasing popularity? Society’s elite moving towards a more natural look in hair colour, and consequently stepping away from stripy, zebra-like highlights. Fashion models, socialites and Hollywood’s brightest stars have lately been embracing the natural look, and of course, where the stars lead, the people shall follow!
Whether you want a barely noticeable colour shift or a dramatic change, balayage is likely to work in your favour. Balayage is an ideal colouring technique for any kind of lightening, whether you’re after a blonde boost or want to add some caramel tones to your naturally brown hair.
Balayage or grown-out highlights — is big news this year with heaps of celebs, including Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parker, Lauren Conrad, X Factor’s Caroline Flack and Leighton Meester lightening their ends. They were led by Queen Bee of this trend, Alexa Chung and joined by Aussies Rose Byrne, Jen Hawkins and Caitlin Stasey.
