Golden Globes Hair 2012

By RMUK on January 23rd, 2012

Angelina’s hair style in quite nondescript but it is intended to be this way so all the focus is on her face and dress whereas Natalie Portmans hairstyle has more of a 1920′s look to it.

Salma’s hair was stunning at the awrds, definitely showing her more glamourous side. We love the sun-kissed ends, it’s subtle and warm enough to suit her olive skintone. Her voluminous waves ensured she lead the style stakes on the red carpet.

Charlize Theron and Michelle Williams have clearly been influenced by the ‘flapper’ era with their hairbands. Michelle’s is a bit more daring as it is such a contrast to her strawberry blonde crop cut

Unsure of Elle’s roots, they are not exaggerated enough to carry off the balage trend, they unfortunately just look like bad regrowth. Though we love the tousled look which is more exaggerated than usual. Unfortunately the same goes for Reece Witherspoon. Maybe a trip to RMUK before a red carpet event is needed next time!

Rooney went for a slick, edgy and grungy but with a red carpet polish. I love that she opted for shine – it would have been easy to go for a matte grunge look but she mixes it up well. Mila’s hair was polished and sleek and has a gorgeous shine! Though could of done with a bit more volume to compliment her round shaped face

Julianne’s rich auburn hair colour her pale complexion perfectly. She carries off this vintage style perfectly as it highlights her skin to perfection. Sofia’s hair is perfectly shining, maybe a sign of having a Keratin blow dry beforehand. Her hair is sexy, smooth, and glamourous.

Her look was slick and polished as Kate knows how to do red carpet chic. Her tousled up do is sexy and with just the right amount of height at the roots. The warm truffle colour may have been tried time and time again but it works perfectly and she knows it. Michelle works the same look to show off the detail of her dress, perfect!
