How to grow out your crop hair cut at RMUK

By RMUK on February 20th, 2013

Short hair has been on trend for a while now, but what happens when you want to grow out your crop? Well take advice from Michelle Williams and Anne Hathaway to seem to be growing out their crops. Short hair is still on trend though this season it has a more feminine softer side to it

Michelle Williams was spotted yesterday with a longer version of her usual hairstyle on Good Morning America and The Letterman Show. It is still a short hairstyle yet looks feminine and well styled. Short styles like this still need attention and regular trims. It is sometimes thought that if you want to grow your hair then you don’t get it cut. This is not the case, leave a little longer in between appointments, so if you normally saw your stylist every 6 weeks leave it 8 weeks. Regular trims give the hair shape and style and in good condition. Perseverance is key in growing out short styles

Embrace that awkward growing out stage and make new hair friends by using hair bands and grips to style your hair.

Change your parting can give your hair another look and its an effortless way to exaggerate the length of your hair

Make the most of your ears, simply tuck your hair behind them

Michelle Obama on trend with new fringe

By RMUK on January 18th, 2013

I have been writing about fringes being a big trend for 2013 for a few weeks now. Kate Middleton has gone for a longer, Farrah Fawcett inspired fringe, the were seen all over Milan Fashion week, and now Michelle Obama has shown off her new fringe on her 49th birthday. Michelle Obama’s new fringe is needless to say, is a fringe-with a difference; thick, glossy and slightly shorter, her bangs are somehow blunter, more choppy and well, fabulous. Those of you longing for a bit of a new season update would be wise to give these all new, all versatile and most importantly all flattering fringe a go. Longer and fuller than we’ve seen it for a while, this fringe works whatever you’re hair length or type. Snipped into long hair the result is pure bohemia and shorter hair is given a softer, more casual edge.

Miley Cyrus’s new blonde locks

By RMUK on July 17th, 2012

Miley Cyrus debuted freshly-dyed blonde locks at the weekend, including several times on Twitter – although they’ve been tied up in her typical ballet bun for most of the time since as she attends several yoga classes, or skateboards with fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

But with another trip to the hair salon she is finally letting her hair down.

The 19-year-old today debuted a razor cut bob as she left her Beverly Hills stylist.
Straightened to perfection, her shorter fringe bounced in step and blew back in the wind, revealing her dewy complexion.

Jessica Biel reveals her new hair colour at ESPY awards

By RMUK on July 12th, 2012

While most of the female stars in attendance at the ESPY Awards chose glamorous gowns, Jessica Biel took a fun and flirty approach towards dressing for the event.

The actress looked radiant in a white dress which consisted of a fitted top and full skirt.

She teamed the frock with Mary Jane shoes which at first glance appeared to match but in fact had a neon yellow heel.

Jessica swept her medium brown with a hint of copper and red toned locks into an elegant ponytail to complete her look.

Katie Holmes’ new look for ELLE magazine

By RMUK on July 11th, 2012

You would have had to be living in a different universe to not have read about Katie Holmes over the past 3 weeks

Here she is in a particularly well-timed pre-planned photoshoot for ELLE US, for their August Edition.

She is rocking a bold new look, with waist length hair and a chunky, full, lash-skimming fringe.

Bold fringes are set to be one of the biggest trends for Autumn/Winter 2012, especially if you have longer hair.

We think Katie has had extensions added for length and thickness but even still she looks sexily amazing which is great for the new single Miss Holmes
