Hair extensions such as Great Lengths which are real hair extensions will not damage your hair as long as you follow the after care provided by our stylists. They will not cause baldness as at RMUK they are applied by a pro. We advise you to brush your hair daily to avoid matting which can put pressure on the bonds and cause them to come out. We advise that you use Great Lengths hair care and avoid using every day haircare. If you follow our advice your extensions should last up to 4 months, sometimes longer. We often get asked how long hair needs to be to have hair extensions we suggest that your crown area of your hair is long enough to cover the bonds, in other words your top section of your hair should reach the nape of your neck.
