My fiancé is always moaning about her hair and so I want to get her a hair makeover as a gift, but I am completely clueless about how much a new do would cost. How much (roughly) should I have to spend for a decent session at a city centre salon? Dear Massi
I recently went for my roots touching up. Instead of my usual tint, my hairdresser used bleach. When it was rinsed off I could have cried. My roots are a kind of brilliant albino white shade and the rest of my hair was like a honey blonde colour. He tried to put a toner through it and the result was just a darker/ash shade of blonde through the rest of my hair… apart from the roots, which were still gleaming. What can I do? I am so upset because the hair that has been bleached is all coarse and dry now it has settled. Dear Massi
