The launch of Minx Nail fashion is a new and glamorous way for women to extend fashion to their very fingertips. Minx nails have become the latest must have fashion accessory for the celebs, being worn by names such as Victoria Beckham, Christina Aguillara, Rihanna and Beyonce to name but a few.

Minx is a solid film with an adhesive backing that is heat activated. The heat gives Minx the conformability to fit over the compound curve of a nail, and seals the film onto the bed. The patent-pending, proprietary material that Minx is made of can easily be removed with heat
HOW LONG DO THEY LAST? This depends on several factors; the most important being proper application. From our Minx users, it appears the normal range is from one to two weeks. But, during this time, Minx does not chip
Minx nails have become the latest must have fashion accessory that has taken the States by storm, with celebs such as Victoria Beckham, Christina Aguillara, Rihanna and Beyonce appearing in glossy fashion magazines showing off their new Minx nails.
“Minx is for those who love to stand out from the crowd,” declares Master Minx Janice Jordan. “For celebrities who wore Minx nails on the red carpet for the American Music Awards and the Music Rocks event, Minx opened up a whole new area of fashion. Once you’ve tried it, you can’t go back.”
With hundreds of designs to choose from, Gigi Rouse says, “There is no other way anyone could apply these designs to both natural and enhanced nails in such a quick time (15 minutes). With Minx, Nail art is beautifully and tastefully done and, most importantly, affordable!!”
makeupbuzz.net sums up an article on Minx as “Beyonce loves Minx!” in the photo she can be seen on the red carpet minxing up her designer dress by wearing matching gold Minx nails
Minx was origanally invented by Janice Jordan, Minx chief executive, after getting frustrated with her nails wearing down while working at her vehicle graphics business, Janice says: “I’m hard on my nails so I had to come up with something that would work better. “I’m not an engineer, but I have an engineer’s mind and I’m a problem solver.”
After six months of developing her Idea Janice partnered with Dawn, an expert in the salon industry. The two tested the product in the market and found 100% of the salons they approached were interested, tried Minx, and wanted more. Because of the uniqueness of the product, word soon spread to magazines wanting to do stories on Minx. Realizing the damage that can happen when a company cannot supply demand Janice and Dawn ended the test with the conclusion they needed to set up the manufacturing facilities and infrastructure to support sales.

Paris Hilton. The L’Oreal Look

Today we feature L’Oreal expert make-up artist Denise Milloy who shares her tips on how to create Paris Hiltons great party look.
Face: L’Oreal Bare Naturale All-Over Mineral Glow in Nude Glow gives skin a subtle shimmer that looks amazing in party lighting.
Eyes: Over the entire lid, only up to the crease, use the shimmery silver side of HIP Metallic Shadow Duo in Platinum. Apply sparingly as the color is SUPER concentrated. Add the dark black shadow close to the lash line, blending out to the lighter shadow. Three coats of Telescopic Mascara in Carbon gives the eyes extra drama.
Lips: Balancing out the smoky eye is Bare Naturale Gentle Lip Conditioner in Soft Blush.

Laura’s Beauty Confidential Make Up Tips
Beauty Confidential is all about you. Laura Moura solves all your cosmetics dilemmas with her best all time beauty tips and the secrets.
How you choose the right foundation?
Test along the edge of your face, on the jawline or side of your chin, and on the neck area in daylight. Go for a shade as close to your skin tone as possible.
Should you match your lipstick to your nail polish?
I like matching red lips and nails, but it’s a personal choice. You can choose what you want – dark red nails and beige lips for special occasions always looks great.
How do you choose the right colour eyeshadow?
Many people think that if you have blue eyes, go for blue eyeshadow, but that is a bit dated and old-fashioned. If your primary aim is to make eyes really stand out, choose a contrasting colour. Bronze, brown and golden shades make blue eyes look great. Red and purple shades look wonderful with brown eyes.
Where should you use a highlighter?
Highlighting pens are light reflective and sheer, so do not use them as a concealer. Highlighting formulas are great in providing definition – use along the brow bones, cheekbones and collar bones.
Is it best to use a dark lip pencil to outline lips?
Use a natural coloured lip pencil and do not put a perfect line around lips, because when the lipstick wears off you will be left with an unflattering line. Buffing on the colour with a lip pencil will give you a look of volume around the edges and it will stay on longer.
How often should you replace make-up sponges?
Dirty sponges or brushes contain a lot of bacteria, resulting in spots or infections. If you use sponges or brushes, wash them regularly and replace every month. The same applies to powder puffs and brushes.
Will adding more coats of mascara make my eyes look wider?
Gradually build up the mascara; two or three coats is more than enough. Use an eyelash curler first to get the best effect.
Can I use an eyeliner to fill in brow gaps?
Be sure to find a great colour that matches the hairs in your brows, and use feathery strokes instead of drawing a line.
