There’s been a growing interest in this product ever since it was introduced. And it’s no wonder. LATISSE® is the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment for inadequate or not enough eyelashes, growing them longer, fuller and darker.
Discover the LATISSE® difference.LATISSE® solution is a growth treatment for lashes. In fact, it’s the only FDA-approved treatment clinically proven to grow lashes. And it’s the only lash growth product of its kind available by prescription. So you’ll need to talk to your doctor to see if it’s right for you.
LATISSE® grows lashes longer, fuller and darker.LATISSE® solution is a once-nightly treatment you apply topically to the base of your upper eyelashes, as instructed by your doctor. Then, gradually, the results come in. You may start to see more length in as little as 4 weeks and you should achieve full growth in 16 weeks. It’s not an illusion of growth. It’s real lash growth.
How LATISSE® works.LATISSE® makes lash growth possible because of its active ingredient: bimatoprost. Although the precise mechanism of action is unknown, LATISSE® is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first, it increases the length of this phase, and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase.
The history behind LATISSE®.LATISSE® was created by Allergan, a pharmaceutical leader with 60 years of eye care expertise. In 2001, Allergan developed a medicated eye drop to treat elevated intraocular pressure. Many patients using this medication also began to grow longer, fuller and darker lashes as a side effect. This led Allergan to study the medication’s active ingredient, bimatoprost, specifically for growing lashes. After a clinical trial, LATISSE® was approved by the FDA in December of 2008.
Great eyelashes don’t just happen overnight. That’s why it’s important to note that LATISSE® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% works gradually and remarkably — with full results at week 16. Once you begin, you must continue applying the topical solution each night and follow the directions for best results. Remember, results are gradual over time. And also remember, if you stop using LATISSE® at any time, your eyelashes will return to their previous appearance over several weeks to months.
Your eyelashes will experience real measurable growth.
LATISSE® works from the inside out. As the treatment progresses, you’ll first begin to see changes in length. Then, gradually, you’ll notice more thickness and darkness in your lashes. If you’re satisfied with your results by week 8, don’t stop there. Stick with the treatment. After week 16, you’ll see the full effect of LATISSE® solution — and so will others. After that, you can talk to your doctor about ongoing use.

How do Hopi Ear Candles work?
The candles are made from the natural ingredients of beeswax, honey extracts, sage, St Johns Wort, chamomile, beta-carotene and organically grown flax. The candles draw any impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed. They equalise the pressure in the head and ears, making them suitable for most conditions. Secretion flow is gently stimulated and the vapour collects and removes impurities or deposits.
What are Hopi Ear Candles used for?
Though results may vary in different people,
Hopi Candles have been reported to help with:
Excessive or compacted wax in the ears
Irritation in ears and sinuses
Pressure regulation in cases of:
Sinusitis, rhinitis, glue ear, colds, flu, headaches, migraine
Stimulation of local and reflex energy flow
Energetic revitalisation in cases of hearing impairment
Relaxing and calming effect in cases of stress
Noises in the ears, ringing

Novice tip and overlay 2nd place
Student Northern nail championships 2nd place
Professional beauty is really encouraging training companies, product suppliers and colleges to support newly trained nail technicians entering a nail competition for the first time. To qualify Georgia had to enter the tip and overlay novice category, haven been doing nails of any type or system less than 2 years and have never entered a nail competition before.
GEORGIA COMMENTS:
For the UV gel tip and overlay category I decided to use Bio Sculpture Gel’s products as I was very confident working with the ranges of gels they have to offer. Bio sculpture is a durable gel that is applied as an overlay onto natural and extended nails. The gel is then cured under a UV light to give it that strong, flexible, glossy finish which last for three weeks. It will also soak off easily without damaging natural nails.
For the competition we had 2 and a half hours to complete our models hands. Both hands had to be extended and sculpted. The left hand had to be finished with a French gel, whereas the right hand was a blood red nail polish finish. Each category had 12 competitors. Once we finished we had to leave our models to be judged. The judges were looking for a very consistent set of nails that had to be buffed, shaped, polished and finished to a very high standard.
